By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Play nice, don’t be a jerk, and have fun ruining friendships (in a good way).
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use “Guess Who’s Lying” on devices you own or control, strictly for entertainment purposes. The app is licensed, not sold.
Some question packs and future features are available only with an optional paid subscription (“Pro”).
Subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store (currently) and will be available through Google Play once the Android version launches. We do not store or process payment information ourselves. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are subject to the respective store’s policies.
We use RevenueCat to receive anonymous subscription status from Apple/Google. Your subscription is linked only to a random anonymous install ID generated by the app — never to your personal identity.
The questions and prompts in the app are provided purely for entertainment and social play. Some packs are clearly labeled 18+ or “Spicy”. You are solely responsible for choosing content that is appropriate for your group and for any conversations (or awkward silences) that result. We are not liable for damaged friendships, ruined dinner parties, therapy bills, or family group chats.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make no promises that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, bug-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Play at your own risk — especially the Spicy pack.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, we (and our affiliates, licensors, and partners) are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including but not limited to lost data, damaged relationships, emotional distress, or any other loss — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app at any time — just delete it from your device.
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version is always available in the app and on our website.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.
